International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico Expanding Services
When Grant Strategies, LLC began working with the American Cello Institute, Inc. on their new initiative, The International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico (ICOPR), the program was a two-week festival of free concerts, masterclasses, and educational outreach events that served just under 2,000 community members throughout Puerto Rico. Over the course of the last five years, (and through hurricanes, earthquakes, and now a pandemic) the program has grown to include a three-week festival reaching more than 5,000 community members and educational television broadcasts on WIPR and CBS Puerto Rico extending to audiences of 132,000+, with plans for further expansion including year round live programming of the ICOPR Chamber Series. With social distance restrictions in place, Grant Strategies, LLC has assisted ICOPR’s pivot to film, creating educational programing to be broadcast on CBS Puerto Rico. With filming of the CBS programming still in progress, plans are emerging for the ICOPR’s next big project! And Grant Strategies, LLC is already hard at work securing the funding!
